I am writing in response to your opening for the position of Head Soccer Coach at Your University.   The opportunity to  teach, develop and help build your Soccer program by inspiring student athletes within your College is an exciting prospect that I feel qualified for and fully able to undertake.  Please allow me to explain briefly my philosophy regarding sports leadership, and how I could contribute to the growth and success of your institution.

My philosophy instills self worth, direction and leadership to encourage the success of an athlete by teaching them the benefits of conditioning, technique, tactics and teamwork.   Additionally, I encourage success on and off the field through elevated self-respect as an athlete and in personal and academic life as well.  In my career, I have established the ability to coach young athletes in a successful and demanding, yet positive way.

What I bring to the position that may be unique among candidates is my global military career and extensive education, playing and coaching background in the St. Louis area. As an assistant coach to my father, Dr. Jim Frisella for over 20 years in St. Louis Area Soccer, I understand the value of strong coaching.  Under his leadership, I have learned the game of soccer. His methods of scouting, tactics and conditioning have proven valuable tools in my coaching career.  In working with athletes through the years, I have gained experience in developing strategies that focus on disciplined defensive tactics  and combination plays that develop into systematic attacks to score.  I have continued to develop my coaching resume by earning an Advanced National Diploma with the NSCAA.  I feel this diverse experience will provide the men in your soccer program the skills to succeed at the level your College strives for.

My resume is enclosed to provide you with additional details concerning my background and qualifications for this position.  I am certain an interview would fully reveal my abilities and enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to your athletic program and be a part of your faculty.

Thank you for your time and consideration.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks
